One verified action is one credit. A compilation costs what its tokens cost. A hundred guard checks cost one credit. The plan bucket pays first and refills monthly, and a pack pays the rest.
A verified action is one operation. Read the plans and the packs for the prices.
What counts as one verified action?
In words
- begin opens the operation. This is the metered call.
- The agent performs the action. Provely does not perform it.
- action_result records the provider acknowledgement. It costs nothing.
- verify observes the provider and returns a verdict. It costs nothing.
- Every later status read and the receipt cost nothing.
- Each call to
POST /v1/operationsreserves one credit, then settles it. - Every later call on that operation is free. Verify as often as the evidence needs.
- A compilation costs what its tokens cost. A confirmation costs one credit.
- A hundred guard checks cost one credit. The first ninety-nine cost nothing.
- A generated skill reserves credits the same way. Read the questions below.
- A call with a reused idempotency key returns the stored result. It is not counted again.
- A refunded call returns its credit. A retry runs again.
What happens when the allowance runs out?
One call runs on credit, and your balance goes a small amount negative, so a workflow does not stop in the middle. Every call after it answers 402 with the plans and the packs you can buy. The next top-up pays what you owe first. We never bill an overage that you did not choose.
What does a plan not gate?
Always free: the SDKs, the contract format, the receipt validator, and the generic verifier interface. The compiler and the maintained Official skills are the paid product.
Questions developers ask
Does a cheaper plan give me fewer features?
No. Both plans carry every feature. The Developer plan verifies 1,000 actions a month and the Pro plan verifies 10,000. Above the allowance you buy a top-up pack.
Is a PENDING verdict charged?
No. The operation is charged once, when you open it. Set a poll interval in the contract timing policy, so the runtime observes at the pace the provider needs.
Is intent compilation charged?
Yes, and the charge follows the tokens. The compiler asks a language model, and a long task costs more than a short one. The call reserves a ceiling and settles what the work cost, so you pay for the tokens and never for the ceiling. Read billing.credits in the answer for the exact charge. A compilation that fails returns every credit.
What does it cost to compile the same task twice?
Five credits. We keep the answer of the model, and the compiler pins the model and asks at temperature zero, so the same task has the same answer. The second compilation asks no model. It is not free, because the request, the audit record, and the storage are still work that we do.
What does a retried compilation cost?
A retry with the same Idempotency-Key returns the stored proposal and is not charged again. A retry with no key asks the cache first, so it costs the cached price.
What does the guard cost?
One credit for every hundred checks. The guard reads the policy of a confirmed plan before every guarded tool call. We price it in a block so the guard stays cheap enough to leave on: an agent that makes ten thousand guarded calls under one plan pays a hundred credits, not ten thousand.
What happens to the guard when the credits run out?
The guard reads no answer, and the guard posture of your organization decides what happens to the call. Fail closed refuses the call. Fail open runs it with no guard. Read the posture switch on your organization page, and set it before you need it.
Does a generated skill cost credits?
Yes. POST /v1/skills/generate runs the Integration Compiler and reserves credits. The answer states the exact charge in billing.credits.
Do I need a card for the Developer plan?
No. The Developer plan refills 1,000 verified actions on the first call of each month.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe Checkout. The API grants credits only from a signed Stripe webhook. A refund or a dispute reverses the grant once.
Does a plan limit which provider versions I can verify?
No. Every plan verifies every provider version that a skill supports, and every plan gets the drift alerts. Read version support.
When do the credits of my plan reset?
One month after your plan started, on the day it started. The day never moves, and a day that a shorter month does not hold moves to the last day of that month. Credits that you do not spend in a month are lost at the reset.
Which credits does a call spend first?
The plan bucket first, because those credits are lost at the reset. Then the packs, and the pack that expires soonest goes first. This order costs you the least.
When does a pack expire?
The credits of a pack last 12 months from the day you buy them. Each pack carries its own date, so a pack you buy today is not shortened by a later change. A refund or a dispute takes the credits back before that date.
Does the price include tax?
No. Fees exclude tax. We bill in advance for a plan and in arrears for usage above the plan. Read the terms of service.
Can I get a refund?
A refund or a dispute reverses the credit grant once. We give 30 days notice by email before a price rises. Read the terms of service.
